With the start of a new fiscal year on April 1, One Warm Coat welcomed a new Executive Leadership Team to the Board of Directors.
Jeff Zon, a senior technology executive from Seattle, WA, was elected as Board Chair; Susan Peterson Sturm, an operational technology leader from Fort Collins, CO, became Board Chair Elect; and Juan Lopez, an international finance and sales director from New York, NY, has been appointed as Treasurer.
One Warm Coat’s President & CEO, Beth W. Amodio, said “One Warm Coat is fortunate to have such a talented, dedicated, and diverse group of volunteers serving on the Board of Directors. I look forward to working closely with the new Executive Leadership Team as we enter One Warm Coat’s 29th year of providing free coats to people in need”.
The Executive Leadership Team will govern alongside fellow Board Members Deborah Chambers of Washington, D.C., Amrita Dutta-Gupta of Pittsburgh, PA, Sahil Kumar of North Smithfield, RI, Cassiopea Olson of Los Angeles, CA, Patrick Sullivan of Palo Alto, CA, and Julian Young of Atlanta, GA.
One Warm Coat bid a fond farewell to former Chair David Elrod of Alpharetta, GA, and former Treasurer Kevin Cheung of Battle Creek, MI, and thanked them both for their years of service and dedication to providing warmth to those in need.
