One Warm Coat partners with 1,500+ nonprofit organizations to distribute coats across the United States. As part of our Coat Drive Program, volunteer Coat Drive Organizers use our Nonprofit Locator Map to find a local nonprofit organization or school in need of coats. Coat Drive Organizers select and deliver collected coats to the nonprofit of their choice.
How We Can Help
One Warm Coat provides our Nonprofit Partners with:
- An opportunity to receive gently worn coats through One Warm Coat’s programs.
- A listing on our Nonprofit Locator Map, where thousands of local volunteers look for organizations in need of coats
- An additional listing on our Coat Drive Map to drive awareness of your need.
- Access to many free resources.
Please note that One Warm Coat is not able to guarantee any organization will receive coats and we do not ship coats to your organization or fulfill wishlists.

No, partnering with One Warm Coat is free!
No, One Warm Coat is not able to guarantee that your organization will receive coats. Because coats are delivered by volunteer Coat Drive Organizers, One Warm Coat does not know in advance where coat drives will be held. There is a greater possibility of receiving coats by being listed on the Coat Drive Map and encouraging businesses in your local area to hold a coat drive on your behalf. One Warm Coat provides many free tools to help your organization spread the word about your organization’s need for coats..
If your organization is in a crisis situation and in immediate need of coats, please email partners@onewarmcoat.org. We may be able to provide assistance.
If your organization can no longer accept coat donations, please email us, and we will “hide” your organization from the Nonprofit Locator Map. Your organization’s information will be retained and displayed on the map(s) again next year.
One Warm Coat asks our Coat Drive Organizers to only donate clean and wearable coats; over 95% of the coats donated meet this standard. If you receive coats that are not unusable, we encourage you to recycle them at a textile recycling program nearby.
No, One Warm Coat will never sell your information to any third party or sponsor.
