National Share the Warmth Day takes place annually on the second Tuesday of October. Its purpose is to bring awareness to the need for warmth among vulnerable populations ahead of the coldest months of the year.
One Warm Coat provides opportunities for individuals and organizations to share warmth with children and adults in need across the country by organizing coat drives, donating gently worn coats, and making financial contributions.
