One Warm Coat is receiving numerous calls and emails each week from schools needing coats for their students. The brutally cold weather across the country over the past few weeks has school administrators concerned.
When a child does not have a coat, they:
- Might not be able to go to and from school on very cold days
- Cannot go outside for recess even if they are able to make it to school
- Might need to wear coats to stay warm and healthy inside their home if utilities are not always on or there is poor insulation.

- If there aren’t any listed, consider reaching out to local schools to see if they need coats.
