[United States] March 16, 2021 – One Warm Coat announced today it has been named a “2021 Top-Rated Nonprofit” by GreatNonprofits, the leading website for community recommendations of charities and nonprofits. Receiving a Top-Rated Nonprofit Badge from GreatNonprofits demonstrates that One Warm Coat is committed to transparency and has been endorsed by clients, volunteers, and community members.
One Warm Coat provides free coats to children and adults throughout the United States. Last year, more than 500,000 individuals in need received the gift of warmth.

The Top-Rated Nonprofit Award is based on the rating and number of reviews that One Warm Coat received from nonprofit partners, volunteer Coat Drive Ambassadors, and donors. One nonprofit partner wrote, “Our organization serves women and children within our community who are living in economic hardship. This past year has been especially difficult for many of our guests. One Warm Coat provided us with countless supplies to assist our families during the winter months. One guest in particular, came to us wearing a blanket with her grandson in tow. We were able to let them each choose a brand-new coat and we also provided them with hats, gloves and scarves.”
