EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP TEAM
Beth Amodio joined One Warm Coat as President and CEO in October 2018. Beth is passionate about helping people in need. She has more than twenty years of leadership experience in nonprofit organizations and educational institutions, including four years as Senior Director of Development and Communications for Second Harvest Food Bank in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties in California. Beth’s key areas of expertise include campaign management, major gift solicitations, corporate relations, branding, and strategic planning. She has extensive experience working with nonprofit boards. Beth has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Master’s Degree in Institutional Advancement from Vanderbilt University. She currently resides in Columbia, South Carolina with her husband and two sons.
Patti Zappa joined the One Warm Coat team in June 2015. In her role, she is responsible for donor acquisition, retention and stewardship and all facets of communication strategy and implementation. She brings with her 10 years of experience in nonprofit and higher education communication and fundraising. Patti attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA where she received a B.A. in Communication and Rhetorical Studies and an M.A. in Corporate Communication. Prior to her work at One Warm Coat, she worked in advancement at Duquesne University and in education and marketing at the Epilepsy Foundation. She currently resides outside of Philadelphia, PA with her husband and two children.
Jessica Skimel is the Director of Programs & Operations at One Warm Coat. In her role, she manages all aspects of the Coat Drive Program, including stewarding thousands of volunteers as well as national sponsorships. Additionally, Jessica builds and maintains relationships with One Warm Coat’s nonprofit partner agencies. Jessica joined the One Warm Coat Team in October 2017, with 8
Trish Conklin joined the One Warm Coat team in April 2019. She brings more than 25 years of experience in building revenue-generating and awareness-building strategic brand partnerships. In her role as Director of Corporate Sponsorships, Trish is responsible for developing and stewarding corporate relationships through sponsorships, cause marketing initiatives and employee engagement campaigns. After more than 20 years in the advertising industry as a media strategist for prominent agencies including Young & Rubicam Chicago and Starcom Worldwide, Trish transitioned into the nonprofit sector and spent over five years at Best Friends Animal Society managing corporate partnerships. Trish is a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where she majored in Communications/Advertising. A lifelong Chicagoan, she now resides in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
